Founded in 2015 by artist Marie McConnell, every item is created using traditional leather craft and metalsmith techniques. Each piece is unique due to this process. Only high quality, full grain leather mostly sourced from the US and European tanneries are used in our leather goods. Products include leather bags and metal jewelry, sometimes marrying the two mediums together. All our pieces are handmade in New Orleans, LA.

With a background in Graphic Design, Marie has a colorful aesthetic and a classic, streamlined approach to shape. Whether it is her jewelry or bags, every piece is thoughtfully designed and attention to detail is key. She has a true passion for craft and quality.
Meet Marie McConnell,
artist and maker.
Marie was born and raised in Austin, TX, and moved to New Orleans, LA in 2006. She has explored various mediums over the years finding a connection with graphic design, leather craft and metal work. It was in New Orleans, in 2012, where she first discovered her passion for metal. She studied metalsmithing techniques at the New Orleans School of Metalsmithing over the next four years and began selling her acid etched jewelry at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in 2016. The following year she introduced her hand-stitched leather bags.
